Bit odd for boycott claiming england bowled well considering except for Woakes and 2 overs from rashid thought england bowled so many boundary balls that released pressure and ansari doesn't look threatening at all, quite baffling they picked him before Leach.

Don't actually think england bowled that well in the first session.

Woakes continues to bowl well but there's no help from the pitch for him. Reverse swing seems to be missing as well.

Game situation has had quite a change today...the excellent partnership between Pujara and Vijay has brought India strongly back into the match.
England must have been delighted with the immediate wicket this morning ; but there doesn't seem to have been much happening for them since then - except for Woakes giving Pujara's helmet a thorough workout

Wasn't watching when Stokes came on but he apparently went round the park : no reverse , I guess ? But I was a little surprised to see the number of fours he conceded. The batsmen have been looking to push on - and pressure right back on the England bowlers ...

Oops ! Chance - and dropped ! Oh dear ...can't afford to miss those in these conditions. Hameed got both hands to it but couldn't hang on.

Broad bowling at a slower pace than Woakes seems to be getting more from the conditions. Maybe someone should tell Woakes to slow down.

You might be right there , hope. Probably slower today ; though Rashid seems to be producing some good deliveries which have had the batsmen a bit unsure.
He will always be at risk of conceding quick runs ; but he might be the best chance for a break at the moment . With Broad bowling well they want to make this period of pressure pay off. I don't think they'll be able to keep these two pinned down for long.
