one was because of high bounce and the other missed the batsman, keeper.
only really one was because of poor wicket keeping.
Bairstow kept well and picked rashid googly quite well, that could have easily gone for a boundary with the turn and bounce that ball got.

Meant tea on day four. Typo brought on by sleep deprivation (work, not cricket). If they batted until tea on day five, it would take a remarkable pessimist to see England lose from there. Apologies.

No problem arthur, was wandering why it would take that long to score 500.

I only saw one of them that went for a boundary and a delivery from Moeen leapt out of the rough high over Bairstow's shoulder.

They both came from excellent deliveries from moeen

Judging by the highlights woakes and broad were quite poor

But moeen was excellent and rashid looked threatening in his couple of overs, one googly was a ripper

A few looked to be going through the top

Lots of pressure on india now, a bad session and they could be in big trouble, they will have to bat 4 or 5 more sessions to get themselves into a good position

Even if they make 450 we could put them under big pressure on day 5

A lot of chatter about how this is a big session for India coming up, really the opposite is true. It is a huge session for England because if they don't get early and relatively quick wickets or the spinners are battered out of the attack then we're stuffed.

somebody said to me today that if India could bat for 2 days and score 700 and odd, he could easily see England collapsing into a snotty heap on day 5.

I think Stokes could be key on day 3, if he can find some reverse from somewhere

The experts say that the the ball in India reverses later in the ball's life than the Kooka. Well,Broad said that. And other experts are saying the green outfield will stop the ball getting scuffed enough. Further experts are saying Indian seamers are better at getting reverse given the ball and conditions, so even if the home bowlers manage it, England may not.

Feels too hard to guess to me. And I don't mind usually running off an ill thought out prediction.

Some are saying the England spinners looked deadly.

Well spinners looked dangerous for 5-10 balls wouldn't say they were deadly.

so nasser thinks india got a weak tail but then named 9 batsman that could be dangerous on this pitch.

yeah feel odds though since Ravi Shastri and Botham were saying the ball was reversing yesterday at 5 or 6 overs, didn't actually see the ball reversing.
doubt england are that great in getting the ball to reverse in the 5th or 6th over.

Moisture to stop reverse and grass binding the pitch together.

Pujara is in a hurry, a quick century is his target.
