Refused permission by who?

Hope it isn't a similar situation down the road.

Raining in Southampton right now. Not heavy, but constant. Still nothing showing on the forecast though, so no idea how long it might last for. Given that we have no choice but to give us as much time to take 10 2nd innings wickets, I'd suggest that every over lost to the rain is a reduction in the target which we're going to set Durham.

It lasted for about an hour here, but has brightened up now. Not sure what the rules are for making up any lost time at the end of the day?

I guess whatever happens from here, we're going to be setting a target at some point, even if its 150 in 40 overs!

It's stopped here now, which invariably means it'll stop at the ground very shortly. Still very overcast though, which is concerning both in relation to batting against Onions and co, and whether play might finish early this evening for bad light.

Warks lose their first wicket. Just another nine to fall for about 50 runs, please.

Scoring rate around one an over, so that game is progressing very slowly.

They'll both be keeping one eye on the game down here and will pleased to see Durham eeking out the runs and the rain delay this morning.

Frustrating or what, sunshine here right now.

Don't know how long until ground will be in fit state for play, all I've got is intermittent Twitter and crapinfo.

Kevan James has just said it's still raining but they hope to start around midday.

Buggeration, Twitter says currently raining heavily at ground, looks like no play before lunch.

If that's the case then you'd hope they cut the lunch interval - or do away with it altogether. If that is even possible?

Radio commentary just has the sound of rain and mocking seagulls in the background. (Very soothing though!)

What is the earliest they can take lunch?

I love the sound of seagulls and rain, but in this scenario it would be driving me up the wall along the lines of water torture!

CC Rule 16.2.2 says they can make up to 30 minutes at the end of Days 1,2,3.
