Got to be the end of Vince for a while? faced 6 balls in this test match. He has had the summer, now needs to work on his game.

Pakistan weren't missing straight balls

The bowlers were let down by the catching

And moeen just isn't good enough to be a lone spinner

Unless this pitch has changed dramatically good solid batting can make runs. If Root had kept hi wicket I would have a fair amount of hope but it's maybe just too much for the remaining batsmen.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

The last 4 wkts added 200 runs today and I didn't see any dropped catches. The Pakistani seamers looked as if they were bowling on a different pitch.

Or it was our batsmen batting on a different pitch.

Do you seriously think the pitch changed much from the morning, chances are the big lead, Pakistan bowlers running in and getting more out of the pitch is the reason for England losing the wickets.
With the pace of the wicket mistakes and edges are carrying,

It should be noted England bowlers also slightly giving up and bowling defensive played a part in the conditions looking more batting friendly in the morning.

Yasir had a chance of equalling George Lohmann's ancient record of fewest Tests to 100 wickets, but can now only get to 99. So it's off. He can equal the record for fastest since WWI though in his next match, held by fellow leg breaker Clarrie Grimmett. Then he's got another Test to beat the Pakistani record held by Saeed Ajmal.

Yasir took three wickets with straight balls

Pakistan didn't get anything out of the wicket we didn't

It's just our batsmen were incompetent

And our fielders can't catch

The pakistani seam bowlers looked more threatening though.
