Maybe he'll surprise me, but it feels a waste of a wicket throwing Yasir up the order. I feel that increasingly about nightwatchers, when tail enders score as many as they do coming in later. Hard to expect him to see off the new ball.

Its part of the game I never understood. Like declining the follow on, I can only see it as a negative tactic.

Yasir is an impressive cricketer a good fielder with a safe pair of hands and a pretty solid technique with the bat. His bowling is overrated though. Most of his wickets this series have been gifted by generous England batsmen.

His first series outside Asia. might be a bit of a learning tour. His record in Asia (including against England) is phenomenal.

Wondering if England are sledging him after Hales suggested his catch didn't carry.

He will be like kumble struggle away from home, although kumble wasn't too bad.
Yasir needs to work on his over spin to be effective outside Asia.
Asian spinners don't have much variation outside Asia when it doesn't spin like Lyon or swann had.
Lyon at the moment is the best spinner when the ball doesn't turn but then again Lyon doesn't get much sidespin so can't win game in the last day or in Asia.

It looks less easy with Woakes bowling. I'm always surprised when Hales is fielding in a close catching position, he's a serial dropper behind the batsman.
