Only Alec Stewart's 173 is a higher score by an England keeper anywhere, in Aukland. Not far off that record.

Solid start by Sri Lanka : quite brisk too .

Not as much aid for the England new ball pair as up North...

If they can lay a platform England might have a bit of work to do if they're to achieve a 3-0. Suspect Moeen might get a bit more work here.

Bizarre miss. Bit of a come down after that fine innings ...

Commentators talking of "wobble". OK , maybe it did dip a bit at the end ...but you'd expect to take that ! As it was he hardly got a glove on it at all.

Won't help stop the ongoing talk about the keeper's place.

And rough on Woakes. :(
