It was a series of batting collapses on Day Three, as all three teams were forced to follow on.
At North Sound, pacer Gavin Tonge took 4-37 and offspinner Rahkeem Cornwall 3-59, as cellar-dwellers Leewards dismissed defending champions Guyana for a mere 190, veteran Shiv Chanderpaul topscoring with 48. Following on 240 runs behind, Guyana were 108-2, led by captain Leon Johnson on 51 not out.
At Couva, pacer Kemar Roach took 4-45 and left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican 3-44, to bowl Trinidad out for just 226, opening batsman Kyle Hope topscoring with 77. Trailing by 170 runs, the hosts were forced to follow on by Barbados, and they closed the third day of 117-1, thanks again to Hope, who was 67 not out.
At Arnos Vale, legspinner Damion Jacobs took 5-95 and left-arm spinner Nikita Miller 3-70, to dismiss the Windwards for a paltry 233. Following on 212 runs behind, the Windwards 245-4 going into the final day, led by veteran opening batsman Devon Smith, on 125 not out. Jelornie Robinson made 64, while Miller has taken two wickets for Jamaica in the second innings to date.
Nobody has a stance quite like the mighty Shivnarine....
