Both Kent and Derbyshire lost 2 wickets in the 1st over of their innings, in the same game. odd

Does anyone know why Cook isn't playing for Essex ?? despite playing a T20 the other night ?

Looks as if he was always going to miss this game
. Apart from the T20 blast, Cook is also scheduled to play his club's County Championship matches against Derbyshire and Gloucestershire later this month.

If he keeps his head down and focuses on cricket, hes a quality player, unfortunately that's a big if, for him.
