I think Durham tried to sign him when he first left Glamorgan, a pity we didn't.

Did someone take Craig Cachopa away and replace him with someone else. Another utter failure from him, another match slipping away from Sussex with abject batting.

So far this season, Cachopa has 50,41, 4, 8,0, 17,24, 20, 2 and 1.... a stellar average of 16

Craig does have two brothers who are cricketers.

I just find him over-rated. Watched him score 53 at Scarborough last year, which was 52 too many with most of his runs coming from mis-cued shots, streaky shots and getting wrapped around the pads on more than one occasion. Luckiest innings i've seen since Ben Harmison in 2006 who couldn't play Adil Rashid, but somehow remained at the crease for some time.

Even his surname is difficult to pronounce, so a friend of mine nicknamed him Frankie Cocozza out of sheer frustration.

Maybe University games aren't fc any more, as his runs v the students aren't included.
