Premiership 2014/2015

The beautiful game!

Just saw this. DiMarzio is usually reliable. City would have a crazy team.

Also from DiMarzio: City have €300m to spend (ignoring FFP). Shortlist reads 1) Pogba. 2) Sterling. 3) De Bruyne.

Has he still got a year on his contract? Not sure he will want to go.

Will he be asked to go?

Probably, specially if Hernandez is coming back. I would imagine united would at least want one of them sold. Not sure how much RVP would cost now though. Lots of injuries in the last 2 years, getting on and not the player he was. Sure Liverpool or spurs will pay 15 mil for him :laugh

He' only 31, and hardly relies on pace, but has always been injury prone. Can see him going back to Holland at some stage.

Just catching up...

Good to see Depay is a done deal.

Hope RVP is on his way this summer.

Bale is not leaving RM his agent confirmed today.

He's apparently already accepted a contract offer from Inter Milan for less than half his current wages.

But how much will Inter have to pay to get him?

Six million has been offered, I guess they may have to at least double that.

If he waits for his contract to run out am sure he will get a nice signing on fee the following year. Reckon he will stick it out for next season. Still a asset to United.

No way we keep Hernandez.

I think Rooney, RVP and one other. Whether that other is Wilson or someone we sign if they are available. Depay can apparently play striker too.

City will want more for FFP i reckon.

Inter don't have that much money to spend do they?

Transfers have become so complicated since Bosman, FFP and the like.

Who has today described himself as "the best coach in the Premier League?"
A) Jose Mourinho
B) Arsene Wenger
C) John Carver

Tough question so I'll give a clue; the answer isn't A) or B) :o

He's probably a half decent coach, just a terrible manager.

Some coaches should accept that they're only good as a number 2.

If McClaren does take over for next season I can't imagine it will be a popular appointment with the majority of supporters.

Especially if he tries to replicate his time in Holland where he spoke English in a Dutch accent.

If the first words McLaren says on his appointment is "Why Aye Man" then somebody should shoot him.
