Not surprised, it was probably worse than Gerrard's as unprovoked.

Looks like Fraser is going to be injured a while, Koeman wasn't positive about his scan coming back with anything but a serious injury, which is a huge blow to lose him.

Southampton on paper though probably have the easiest fixtures of all the teams I would say realistically they are competing against, bar Arsenal.

They have as much chance as Tottenham, which is slim, but not impossible.

If we win seven out of eight, I think we will make it. 74 points plus a very healthy GD (almost certainly up in the 30s). United would have to win five out of eight to match that 74 - and if they were to lose to City, Chelsea and Arsenal, that becomes five out of five. And even then it would go down to GD.

But we wont win seven out of eight. Not in chance that we will win seven out of eight. Just like Spurs wont.

If we were to win our next three though (we wont), immediately prior to taking Spurs on, then things become interesting. Arsenal have Liverpool and Chelsea in their next three games after that (plus a postponed game, giving sides below them the chance to close the gap). Man Utd have Chelsea and City in their three games.

Could see City dropping to 4th. United have some momentum and the Gunners are getting results.

But it can't be right as The Oracle wrote it.

They are running out of candidates to fill the job though.

Stuart Pearce might be available.

I predicted a few weeks ago that, despite how close the top four race was, it would not last.

If Arsenal beat Liverpool here, Man Utd beat Villa, we fail to beat Everton and Spurs fail to beat Burnley (all four of which are very possible in my view), then Arsenal and Man Utd will be nine points and eight points clear of 5th place respectively after this weekend. Pretty much race over, with seven games still to go.
