Well we did give Robinson a trial last season, so at the very least they presumably would have come into contact with each other then.

Oliver Robinson and Matt Coles both came through the Kent youth system too.

Is the Kent academy based in the hop fields?

At least Plunkett could come back to Durham, because they've demolished the Tall Trees outside Yarm, to make room for a housing estate. Have they demolished all of Matty Coles haunts?

Why would Pudsey want to come back to Durham, when the Headingley nightlife is like minutes away from the cricket ground?

I'm surprised Jesse Ryder and Shane Warne haven't played for Yorkshire at some point in their careers.

Umpires Willey & Sharp have lost their age discrimination case against the ECB. This article suggests an appeal is a possibility.

The but the frightening thing is that Willey apparently before hearing as appeasement was offered a pitch liaison officer position.

That would be disastrous!

Who is a big mate of Harmi which won't help our cause. Just as well we can buy him off with an extra portion of chips at lunch and extra cakes at tea.

Much thanks to Saker for his work with England over the years. It's often said a coach can only be effective for so long, and he may have stayed too long. And it's hard to quantify how much of a difference a coach makes. But for a while, he was associated with a functioning attack.
I always say that everybody's right.
