Pakistan have let England off the hook a bit here. This is the difference between this Pakistan side and some of their previous sides. They don't have bowlers who can finish off games.
Yasir Shah continues to impress though.

Good opportunity for Pak to practice chasing 250+ against a good attack and for England to defend a total against not such a great batting lineup after failing against Australia. Decent warm up for both sides. Much better than the farce against WI the other day.

not seen any of the game just been checking in with the cricinfo updates so no idea what the pitch has been like, but pretty pedestrian stuff from most of the top order

morgan's lack of runs is bad enough but hes not even spending any time in the middle

I have been watching it. Its being telecast in India. Used pitch, not a "hit through the line" deck, a bit of reverse towards the end and a bit of turn, slower compared to the WI game but reasonable bounce. 275 would've been a good score. 250 may yet prove enough vs Pak though.

Day of upsets - Zimbabwe beat SL, NZ beat SA. With the West Indies looking so weak, Zim vs WI looks like a potential 'upset' - think I might have to take the afternoon off and head down to Manuka.

Hales and Ballance haven't exactly forced themselves into contention, but in looks as if the wicket is fairly slow. Will reserve judgement until Pakistan bat. Broad strikes with his first ball as I type...
