Stars were the only team in the finals that I wanted to lose, so now that that's done, I will happily go back to my traditional allegiance to NSW. Go Sixers!!
Should be a good final. Scorchers were good tonight.
I'm only a Stars fan by default - they play their home matches at the MCG, where I'm a member, so I pay my 600 notes a year and get to watch all the cricket and footy there for free. Oh, and I'll be going to both Real Madrid games to be played there in July. That King Eddy is CEO is just bad luck. But for the record, I don't feel the least bit bad that we have James Faulkner on our books, or Jackson Bird, who comes from NSW anyway.
Cameron White has had a bit of sook in the media saying that some changes need to be made for next season. I think that given that we were without David Hussey (injured) for the duration and Peter Handscomb for most of the comp, I thought our season was pretty fruitful. Not having Faulkner and Big No Show in the semi didn't help, but the Scorchers are a pretty handy outfit. The only change I would make is moving on Luke Wright for a foreign bowler.
As for the final, I'm leaning towards the Scorchers in this one, although a Sixers win would be the perfect way for Bing to exit the game.
