Nice to see they are taking the thoughts of the spectators into consideration.

That crossed my mind. I bet the press would reimburse them for an afternoon off.

I'd be livid if a CC game was called off with 40 overs still to play.

That's more than a session and still enough time to bowl a side out - especially on the final day.

Isn't the purpose of an A team tour to give fringe players as much of an opportunity as possible? Makes zero sense to call it off even without considering the fans.

Yes. Another bowling innings could have been useful to England.

Apparently the heat was quite extreme.

I questioned it with Trott on Twitter but no surprise that he hasn't responded.

Excellent innings from Vince. Good to see the lad hitting some runs for England.

It will be very interesting to see how he handles the step up to Div 1 next year.

considering most test matches in SA are poorly attended how many disappointed fans do you think were present?
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

Brooks might be ahead of Plunkett, in limited overs for Yorkshire, but Plunkett is probably nearer a WC call up if there's an injury.

that would be a pretty exciting looking top 6 if they all clicked , I know it was just one season but billings' numbers in the one day cup last year were insane , he could be a real talent

9 bowlers, potentially, in that side. Seems a bit excessive.

then again, the 15 man squad comprises 12 bowlers, 2 keepers and 1 batsman, so you're probably right, and the people who came up with the squad, were probably drunk
