Nice to see the whole warm up matches prepared us for the usual bomb-blasting. Did we play school teams in those matches, or on grounds with boundary's brought in to the edge of the square?

Bit of both one thing I find with warm up games even when given strong opposition they usually don't bowl or play at their best any more.
in the Warm up game pat Cummins was only allowed 6 overs and didn't really bowl at full pace.

TBH Warm up performances are getting overrated now too much Media presence for the games.

I think there are a fair few positives to take. Looking at the match as a whole, only two batsmen made it past 40, both made tons.

England did take 7 wickets with Woakes and Ali in particular being impressive.

With Morgan in this match, all of our batsmen have made runs in recent games, sometimes things go badly wrong.

India will be an interesting test.
