Someone was always going to take him eventually.

I thought he might have had to go overseas.

Oldham now look like doing a U-turn on signing him.

Yet the same club had no problem signing Lee Hughes.

Evans looks like he's up the creek without a paddle.

Why do all these clubs give Ched Evans a bit of hope and then dash it all a week later, when they are fully aware of all the facts in the first place. Beginning to feel a bit of sympathy for the poor sod.

Neil Adams resigns as Norwich manager.

Considering they are a win off the playoffs, its a little drastic, isnt it?

Apparently quit because, in his own words, they needed something positive to happen to get results up. He will take a break from football and retake a coaching role at the club.

It is at first glance, especially when Norwich beat Huddersfield 5-0 and Millwall 6-1 recently.

But looking into it, Norwich's recent upturn in results are part contributed to the appointment of Mike Phelan as assistant manager two months ago. Maybe Adams felt he was out of depth as a first team manager chasing promotion at the first attempt and this is a job for the more experienced personnel.

I don't think Oldham were banking on another petition (started by the same feminazi who hounded Ched Evans out of Sheffield United) with over 26,000 signatures and widespread criticism from politicians, including the Labour leader Ed Milliband.

If the petition was started by an Oldham supporter and attracted 5000 signatures of active Oldham supporters then that is fair enough. But this has become a witch hunt where a varierty of individuals and organisations (predominantly those who are not in any way connected to Oldham Athletic FC or football) are vehemently against Ched Evans resuming his football career on ethical grounds.

What I find amazing with Ed Milliband speaking out on a convicted football not having the right to resume a professional football career, is Labour are pretty much central to the child grooming scandals in Rotherham and Rochdale through gross negligence. Surely if Ched Evans is treated like a political football then practice what you preach.

Lets hope this has a negative effect on their next game!

I thought that, but they'll surely only have a stand in come Saturday.
