Didnt they finish second one year?

Im sure i remember seeing picture of Rod Stewart and Elton John training as well?[/quote]
They did, first season in the top flight 1982/3. I went to every home game and most of the away games in London. Liverpool had won the league by a fair distance. Last game of the season was Watford v Liverpool, pretty sure they needed to win to finish runners up. I couldn't get tickets in the home end but my scouse mate got us both tickets in the away end. Great day as Watford won 2-1 and both sets of players did a lap of honour.

Well Derby are now top.

Forest get another lucky draw but are slowly dropping down the league.

4 points of Derby now :facepalm

A bad loss for Wycombe last night, and now we have Luton sniffing up our bums. Not a great night.

Yep, all a bit tight there at the top of division 2, mind you must still be over the moon with your start after your miraculopus escape last season.

Pleased that Bournemouth have been staying below the radar in recent weeks after the brief moment at the summit after two games. Good run of 4 wins out of the last 5 has seen us creep slowly up the league. Don't think we're really missing Grabban, Wilson seems like a great replacement. Still a long way to go and plenty of ups and downs to come before the season end.

No coincidence our upturn of form has come since Artur Boruc joined our ranks.

I'll still take staying up :-) No, our defense has been pretty solid this season, bar last night, so we should be looking towards the play-offs.

The Championship is even more congested. Derby top now. All makes for a good season.

The Championship is a great league when its like this, although you do tend to get one or two teams starting to move away at the top by the middle of the season. Surprised that Forest have dipped in form, too many draws I guess, but you wouldn't back against Derby now they've hit the front to stay there.

We have fairly big squad of decent players and an up and coming manager so there is always the hope that we may challenge by the end of the season, but you never know what can happen.

You must be considering play offs at least after your start, top 7 has to be realistic now.

Yeah, top 7 should be the aim. Scoring goals looks a bit of a worry, but we've done well so far, so no reason why we cannot maintain out form. Injuries can always do this.
