Got a whole session yet, we should play until the 105 over mark.

Important to keep scoring. That rain this morning was vital.

Could have done with Wheater doing a bit more! Are his stats as bad as I suspect or it like Ervine earlier in the season whose figures were better (at least with the bat) than I realised?
Apart from Smith [& Dawson yesterday] this second innings is not showing the nation (with only one other CC match in pay atm) that Hants deserve a CC1 place. Still it's a league not a cup match!

Lead of 50 with only 4 wickets left. What were the Hants players on during the rain?

Three lbws to spinnrrs. The umpites must be Kent supporters or trying to generate some excitement for the crowd.

We're toppling over like Northants when they've toppled over on a toppling over day - to misquote Blackadder!

Now 8 (eight) down!

Come on Hampshire - this is pathetic atm unless Kent have become top class.

Five lbws you have to *modded* joking.

The umpires are cheats and we're useless.

If we lose this game I reckon our morale will be that bad going into the glamorgan we'll lose that as well. The weather could be the only thing that will get us promotion.

If we can get to 90+ and still be in at 4:30 then Kent would have less than 14 overs (losing 2 for the changeover) to win at 6.4+ / over .
So next 30 mins is crucial.

Stevens and Key could knock those off in 10.

I can't see us getting that far ahead - unless Tahir starts swinging but with only 2 to fall it's too late for that.

Tahir gone - any chance of Tommo doing a Willis (Ashes) or what himself did a few years ago at Taunton?
