What's the highest number of points achieved by a team finishing in third place in CC2?

We really need to get this second bowling point and somehow hope that Essex drop two batting points. Awful start to this round of matches.

Anyone know a good bridge I can jump off ??

Atleast the runrate is manageable, Gloucester scored over 500 on day 1 last week, for example.

Haven't a clue what he's done since his two hundreds in the same game earlier in the season. On that performance alone I'm pleased he's now got his chance.

Wasn't that McManus?

Desperately dull atm - & not too warm either! I used to take cold cans to cricket matches - now it seems hot bovril would be more suitable!

200 partnership for Kent! I'm off home.
If/when we get promotion are we going to hammered like Northants & Derbyshire were after their promotion with this powder-puff attack?

BMB - I haven't had a good record with Hants this season - even when we've won a match I've been present when we've had a bad day & then missed it when we've pulled it round.

At least it's not my fault that B'mth messed up on Sat as I wasn't there. Let's hope they repeat their result of last season against Leeds tomorrow night!

PS Surely it was McManus who got gthe 2 tons?

I was at Dean Court on Saturday. Terrible first half and when we scored in the second we sat back and let a pretty poor Rotherham build pressure and nick a lsst minute goal from terrible marking at a set piece.

I guess the groundsman was always going to prepare a road for this game. Shame we lost the toss.

As I put earlier the omens are not good for next season if we can only get 3 wickets in a day. Tahir has about 1 for 70 atm.

You don't deserve to get promoted if you can't bowl out this very poor Kent side...

We are fully aware that our current bowling attack is not good enough for div one. Its why we signed Kyle Abbott, shame he had to go home!
