That's great news, I'm a big fan. He's had a miserable year regarding injury but Barrow appears have been a fine substitute.

Looking at the weather forecast for London it's predicting rain for Friday, I do hope the Lords final doesn't end up affected by D/L, that always turns games into something of a lottery. As the referee in a boxing match tells the fighters, "I want a nice clean fight and when the bell rings come out fighting".

Think so. Not sure though if rules have changed since our last 50 over final-a lot of reserve days now seem to apply only if DL can't produce a result on the previous day.

They have an outside chance of beating Hampshire to promotion and although Hants must be favourites for Div 1, Essex are certainly giving it a go.

Ryder hardly ever bowled before this season. Certainly less than Bopara.

I'd make Essex favs at this point, can't see much of a fight from Worcs next week. If we didn't have Immy, I'd probably throw the towel in.
