Without question they have been the stand out team this year and are worthy champions. Sir Geoff will be over the moon.

Hey! Great effort from Jason Gillespie and the Yorkshire players. Well deserved, though they'd had to dig deep at times. Fine seasons for Bairstow and Lyth, but especially Sidebottom and Brooks who have been redoubtable. Rashid has been a matchwinner too. Winning with the loss of a number of players lost to England, and only one defeat is an excellent achievement.

If you could have any player from another county, who would you have?

Don't include Cook, Bell, Broad, Anderson, as they are pretty much just England players over a long period.

If you could guarantee fitness, probably Graham Onions, if not, Will Gidman.

Might go for Ben Stokes. Really is a golden arm at this level and a top order bat. Can field.

Ed Joyce would be useful at three for Yorkshire.

I think Ben Stokes will turn out to be something very special in the future and all rounders are a rare breed.

Yes and with mainly Academy products and despite England calls.

Wow! Just wow! Talk about a comprehensive innings victory against a title rival to secure the County Championship.

Whilst all the stats have been bandied about, what has really won Yorkshire the title is turning draw favourite matches after stumps at Day 3 into winning matches, through excellent 2nd innings bowling.

Gale issue still ongoing with possibility of further sanction. Daily Mail claims he made reference to Prince's Kolpak status during the altercation. Whole issue has put the dampers on what should have been a brilliant occasion for Yorkshire cricket.
