By accounts on the White Rose Forum, it started on the final session of Day 3 as Yorkshire bowled their overs before 6pm and wanted to sneak in an extra couple of overs. Khawaja and Prince, naturally wanting to avoid this resorted to timewasting tactics. Gale approached them and told them to get a move on, which got an instant response from Khawaja and Prince waved his bat to the Square Leg umpire. An extra over was bowled before stumps.

As the players left to their changing rooms, there was a 2nd altercation and apparently Gale said something, in which Prince and Khawaja were taken aback.

If it was a racist comment, as Powelly says it should be a longer ban than 2 games. He started his career when Lehmann was still at Yorkshire, so who knows?
