Interestingly ( for me anyway ) Chris Wood scored 61 in his last FC innings before yesterday, vs Worcester at the end of last season.

That was a great comeback by Hampshire, maybe the day that you can look back on as the clincher for promotion

Every chance that Worcs will fail to pick up a third bowling point today (they might not even pick up two, but I'm going to assume that they will). And given the first innings deficit that they will be conceding, there is every chance that they will take just two points from the match. If we can take 23 out of a possible 24 from this game, suddenly they come right back into our view again.

Glamorgan crumbling to Monty and Napier, so Essex have a great chance to push for victory in that one.

Given Surrey's strong first innings score (and the fact that Leicester are awful), it just increases the pressure on us and Kent here. Could be a terrible four days for the loser, if there is one.

Odd that lunch wasn't taken when the wicket fell.

Good breakthrough at an important time.
