And we're off. We were never going to get a full 34 overs in.

We've lost two or three overs already, and even if the rain stopped now (which it hasn't) you can wipe off another five overs minimum for the umpires to do their inspection and the groundsmen to clear the outfield. So that takes us down to a maximum of 27 overs, if not less. And of course to constitute a game, we need 20 overs (10 overs a side). So we're not too far from the cut off point.

Just goes to show how tight this group is that we would be in a qualifying position right now had we not messed up that chase against Gloucs. In fact, we'd be in the dizzy heights of 3rd place. And that despite us not having turned up in this competition yet.
