He scored 148 last week.

Done shag all in the T20 which was what he was essentially here for.

Granted it is inflated by three not out scores, but Shah actually has the second highest batting average in the t20 this season: 74.5.

Only RTD's average of 88.75 (inflated by five not out scores) is higher.

With all the excitement, I forgot about Alsop, he scored 40 off 80 and seemed to get out just as the Notts innings ended, lets assume he did it on purpose, so he could watch.

You don't win too many t20 games on the back of taking just two wickets.

The interview from Solent to James Vince :
"it was a good score from Notts, but it was gettable, wasn't it ??"

Of course it was gettable, we bloody got it.

Avoid Slurrey and you should win it again. That was some performance today. Notts fielding was downright terrible which helped, but Vince came good at the right moment.

2 years ago because of a work do , I missed all of the game on telly , just got back in to see Dimi hit the winning runs , so as I was unable to go today I was in a right old shemozzle about what to do , but fortunatley Mrs MTH decided that we NEEDED to go shopping and bribed me with lunch out popped into her parents on the way home back home at 5.30 just as 5live spoke the best words of the summer so for "Hampshire have taken the last place for T20 finals day"

Now all I've got to do is persuade one of the loons that I work with that the best way to spend the Saturday morning of the bank holiday weekend is dealing with the stupid old men of Totton who turn up on our counter with filthy parts of their toilets in Tesco carrier bags :Nooooo :Nooooo :Nooooo :Nooooo
Also it means missing Staines Town at home but there's always Bath City away on the Monday :joydance :joydance :joydance :joydance

Mrs MTH can see me sunday  :fit :fit :fit

Lend the men of Totton buckets and get up the M40!
Cardiff 2012 was (sadly) on of the most memorable days of my life. Edgebaston last year perhaps less so.....

Personally think the best finals day was the Somerset v Hants final at the rose bowl one, that dramatic last ball was was on the most tense moments in cricket I've ever seen, and despite all the rain delays the day was brilliant.

Although I think the best bit was the drunk Somerset supporter and his mate on the park and ride bus (of which he only just got on after attempting to persuade the stewards that he definitely wasn't a safety risk after nearly impaling himself on a metal fence...) at the end :clap. His mate couldn't quite break it to him that Somerset had lost as he'd been so drunk he couldn't remember and was therefore singing "Somerset lalala, Somerset lalala..." the whole bus journey. Still remember that :D.

Fantastic win by Hants! :party :pint :dance

Been abroad for over a week with no computer access - before turning in at midnight last night I looked up the result on Teletext.

Only downside/query is how have we lost 2 out of 3 50 over cup matches in the last few days? :dunno - when I've properly woken up I will have to access the scorecards!

Should be going, do Hampshire themselves still get a set amount of allocated seats that we can purchase from them or do we have to go through Edgbaston?

Jesus, they've sky rocketed these prices since last year, £80-90 for an adult and junior ticket...

I seem to remember them being maximum £40 every time I've been, which is every year Hampshire have got there :panic.
