I blame Adams entirely for this. He has to have seen how utterly, utterly bad we are at chasing this season. So why on earth decide to bowl first?

Well I'm not sure it's going to be Briggs or Tommo.

If we ever choose to field first again in the remainder of this season, be it Vince or Adams, I will be furious.

Fed up of us failing to learn our lesson. Our middle order is appalling without McKenzie. Our only hope of ever putting a score on the board is that the top four do all the scoring, and inevitably that is easier without any scoreboard pressure (good wicket) or dying wicket (poor wicket) to have to deal with.

The inconsistency continues. One day brilliant another day terrible. Not sure who's to blame in these situations, the players, the captain, the coach. Don't understand it myself.

Well to be fair to Benks, he isn't trying to make excuses in any of his post match interviews with Solent. He's both bemused by our inconsistency, and angry at so many batsman constantly messing up - be it by throwing their wickets away, or getting out once they've got in, or whatever.

I'm still holding onto hope Maxwell is fit for Sunday, hide him in the field and let him stand in 1 spot and slog...its better than any other option.

Not sure CA would be too happy with that choice.

Brad Taylor and Tom Alsop are currently playing for the England U19s against South Africa U19s, game ends Monday, so Alsop won't be involved in the T20 QF on Sunday.
