Leading wicket taker for Melbourne renegades apparently though in the BBL and was leading the whole tournament halfway through, not that bad! The one thing that's confusing me is how he played for WA U23's a few months back :stupid.

Shame Vince couldn't have seen it through and maybe got himself a hundred at the same time. Still he did alot better than in recent knocks so one positive from the game.

In football, you can have 4 older players in the U21s...usually used after an injury.

In the lead with 5 wickets left, game nearly drawn, pretty comfortable.

Five games left. Three wins and two draws I think will do it - depending on bonus points, it would pretty much force Surrey to have to win four out of four - and that would include a victory over Worcs (which is a match that works out for us either, as they obviously can't both win).

Two wins and three draws however might see us just miss out. Surrey's form would have to hit a wall.

Dawson and Rimmington replace Shah and Abbott in our 13 man squad for tomorrow.

Please Hampshire, reinstate Wheater over Bates.

It was more out played than well played, but yes scraped back into second place. Form is worrying right now, and if as Brendy suggests, we need 3 wins and 2 draws to get promotion I think we will struggle. Need a bit of inspiration from somewhere to get us back on track because we've been a poor second best in our last two games.

We often end a season well but current form certainly doesn't suggest 3 wins & 2 draws. A maximum of 2 wins - prob only one - & a defeat along the way seems more likely with a couple of bore draws due to weather or batting wickets.
