Out for 51, 3 runs short of a 3rd batting point. GUTTING, but fantastic.

115 run partnership.

Tommo was out immediately after hitting 2 consecutive fours - perhaps trying for a third to bring up 300?

Like football, at the end of the we'll know whether it was the 2 points gained or the 1 point lost that will be the most vital!
Tremlett & Surrey were in fine form yesterday & it seems to be a 3 horse race but the weather, as always, could play an important role before our last CC match in Cardiff near the very end of September!

Tommo is averaging 26.75 with the bat this year, best number 11 in the business, rarely lets us down

In the circs very much two points gained, but greed got the better of me as we edged towards 300.

Glos off to a flier, 50 up, going at four an over.

I'm not down as I prepared myself for this. Hope there's a similar collapse in their middle order.
