It only needs to hold good for three days after day one being effectively washed out. Probably a wasted selection and weakens our batting line up.

It doesn't really matter too much what the pitch is doing, Dilshan would have grown up facing tougher spin tests than Briggs and Taylor. He should be the one batsman in the whole match who'll be at home against spin. It really doesn't surprise me that he's made a half century, and in all honestly it's about getting wickets at the other end.
