Nope, 2.20 apparently.

We've lost the toss and will bowl. Given that there's been rain around, that's surely not the worst outcome ever?

No Tremlett is a nice surprise.

Indeed. Very 'interesting' bowling attack all around. I knew Meaker and Dernbach were injured (or recovering from injury, in Meaker's case), but for there to be no Tremlett as well is nice to see.

Just two out-and-out seamers (in Championship cricket, O'Brien is nothing more than a part-time seamer), and one and a half out-and-out spinners (Ansari is only a half, in my book, whilst Dilshan and Roy are nothing more than part-timers).

Well this has to be the same wicket as yesterday, if Taylor is starting with Briggs (and Surrey are playing various spinners of various ability levels).

I wonder if Benks/White knows what they are doing with the academy...Taylor had a good debut last year, and then before the Worcs game another spinner was promoted ahead of him, and now Taylor is back in.

I think we can safely say that Taylor will be batting at 11, not 7. Slightly worrying to see Coles up at 7. We were able to bat him down at 9 earlier in the season.

3-1 already, and it does sound like a top start with the ball. There was an edge in the previous over which fell short of slip.

I think its fairly clear Bates was intended to play before last night, and Taylor was drafted in late.

Good to see Tommo with the wicket, would be nice to get his bowling average under 30.

I have thunder where I am, hope it doesn't travel across.
