Foster and Hodgson were at WBA together.

Don't think this game is about the future. I'd hazard a guess that they all want to go home, but they can't, so why not give players who haven't played a chance.

Henderson?

He's already played twice, and Lampard is needed for his experience/leadership

Experience? Really? In a dead rubber? When you really should be building for the future? Anyways, can't complaint much about the selection on the whole. Good to see the bench strength get a go. Hopefully, Lampard won't be any worse than Gerrard (if such a thing is even possible)..

Its not a "dead rubber", its about stopping it from being Englands worst EVER WC.

I was unaware of David Villa's retirement today. 59 goals in 97 matches. Very impressive.

Holland look like championship material but how often have teams who do really well in the group stage fail at the knock out stage. Hope they at least progress to the semi's for all the crazed supporters here.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

Cameroon's anthem is similar to the French's La Marseillaise. Brazil to win by three.

At least, Cameroon have been shocking this world cup. Can they keep 11 on the field, and maybe not headbutt each other :rasta

SO Cameroon to win 3-2......
