at 18 years and 336 days - the youngest man to score a first-class century for Warwickshire. Ian Bell was the previous record holder. He was 19 years and 56 days when he scored one against Oxford Uni, but his first Championship one came against Nottinghamshire when he was 19 and 144 days.

Yorks have let a promising situation slip here. Especially with batting not being their strongest hand.

This is where Yorkshire are missing Plunkett to blast out the tail, Pyrah and Patterson are not quick enough to make the batsmen constantly play and miss.

Not too a bad 2nd day albeit the run rate a bit slower than expected. I suppose Yorkshire have a plan to reach Sussex's total with wickets intact and the lower order batsmen tee off.
