yeah, an unfortunate start to the tournament. to be honest, you do have to wonder whether the ref has felt the home pressure a bit

Thing is host team wins, people still happy, and it wont be talked about.

Only the croatian supporters will remember. It has been shocking though, and you really wonder with all the corruption in Fifa.....

It will probably stop the rioting as well, so maybe some well placed ref decisions......

The more positive team won in the end, thank God....

Croatia only started showing some attacking intent after they went behind, by which time it was too late.

Seriously, they were leading 1-0 against the host nation and tournament favourites. Brazil were poor, and helped by some very poor decisions. Croatia have been hard done by here.
