Carbs is motoring - Radio Solent reckoned he was "in neutral" for many overs. Apologies Carbs for doubting you but Ervine soon out so it's down to Carbs. Perhaps he was just letting Jimmy get the runs while he played himself in?

To be able to have someone like Will Smith coming in as low as no.8 is almost laughable. Half the sides have their batting line-ups stopping at 6.

Oh another stupid wicket. Rubbish end to this innings.

Dawson expected Abbott in before Smith.

Not a terrible score, probably 10-15 short.

Not a worldie of a score, but Darren Stevens aside the Kent batting line-up doesn't scare me at all. Given the way we've bowled so far in this competition, I'm confident that we'll defend this.

Did you not see how many they scored against Somerset ?? Think it was 200 in 13 overs

Given the figures of Stevens and Claydon vs Tredwell and Riley, it looks a good choice to have replaced Coles' bowling with Maxwell's.

164 from 13 overs. At Taunton. And Stevens scored 47 of them, off just 20 balls.

And Briggs is a better t20 spinner than Dockrell and Waller.
