Forecast still indicating a complete washout tomorrow. But a dominant performance coupled with taking 12 out of (a reduced) possible 13 points is still very much a positive.

Thanks for everything Pothas. You'll be missed. My nickname for you was apt and I will never forget it. For the last time, arise Sir Nic.

Same here, sunshine now, rain overnight and early morning but drying up now. May get 40 overs in later but not enough to force a win so may as well abandon the days play.

Our twitter account was just hacked and a pic of a woman with her tits out was posted

Dimi Mascarenhas replying with "just stick to reporting the scores" made me laugh.

Shame, I must have missed the picture because I went on when they had just reported the problem resolved!

If you twitter search for Hants Cricket...enough people have re-tweeted it.

Bad news is that Surrey-Worcs is underway...we don't want Worcs to win that.

Just spoken to Glenn Maxwell on SkySportsNews.

He arrived last night and went straight into the nets this morning and practiced with both red and white balls.

Said he was delighted to re-sign for Hampshire as he "owes us for his Australia call up and kickstarting his career"

Has been watching closely from India this year and even kept a close eye last season, specifically mentioned Vinces form and a possible England call.

said he was hopeful Kyle Abbott would need a rest so he could feature in a 4day or 50 over game ( probably unaware of the SA call up )

also said he found playing against us last year for Surrey at final days "hard" and "just glad to be back" ( he did mention in an interview last year that he was extremely disappointed to not get a call from us )

I love the guys attitude.
