What Wheater lacks in footwork, he makes up for in power and placement.

So long as we're not bowled out before then, we're on course for again making 400 inside the 110 overs.

Having Vince, Wheater, Ervine and Coles in the team (and away from the first new ball) really does make all the difference when it comes to scoring runs at a healthy run-rate.

Smith is on the verge of being involved in a 2nd 100 run partnership, yet hasn't reached 75 yet.

This is why we have to bat Maxwell in the top four, ideally at no.3. Just seven overs left here, and Maxwell is still waiting to come in.

Cross drops Wheater again. Palladino the bowler again, no surprise.

Maxwell gone for a golden duck. But it was the final ball of the 18th over, he had little choice but to go for the boundary straight away.

If we can get 400+, we could always hope to bowl them out for under 250 and make them follow on, might not need dodgy weather Wednesday then.
