Bowling from Rashid looks a bit part time. He barely uses his wrist, just rolls it with his fingers. You can't even bowl a googly like that.

Good bowling from Bresser though. Nice spell from Plunkett earlier.

Very aggressive opener. Models himself on his hero, DiVenuto, but hasn't always had the consistency that Diva had

He scored a ton against the MCC, but had a run of single figure scores since then, so this will do him some good

Maybe tomorrow, match situation and weather permitting, and if I can get a bank loan to pay for the beer, sp.

I reckon there's been something in the wicket for the seamers all the time, but we've seen some very good batting, particularly from Stoneman who has faced the better bowling.
