Very wet underfoot in North Dorset (50 miles from Ageas Bowl) & a grey leaden sky. Also the forecast on Breakfast TV had a huge rainfall symbol over Southampton & the I oW! Unsettled forecast for the next 6 days.
Welcome to an English summer!
PS B'mth for promotion next season BMB?

I'd take another mid table finish to be honest.

But I sense the ambition of the board is for premier league football, so who knows, see whether Eddie Howe is given any money to strengthen the squad in the summer and maybe make a push for a play off spot a bit earlier in the season.

I've really enjoyed this season and have been to quite a few games, and it worries me a bit about a small club like AFCB getting ambitions above its station, but i guess you just have to ride the roller coaster and hope it can stay on the tracks.

Need Dawson to get a score sooner rather than later so we can regard our top order as a real powerhouse in this division.

He keeps getting out when he is set.

I saw that, has to some sort of record.

What does it suggest, wayward bowling down the legside, late swing?

Can't be bouncers going over batsman and keeper.

byes are generally a WKs fault, and Davies had a nightmare yesterday, it could be late swing, but im not sure how much of a swing bowler Meaker is.

Did Adams run out of patience after watching Vince crash the ball to all parts at the other end?

A real rapid fire ton from Vince albeit with a couple of chances.

England won't notice it's only div 2!

I would of been tempted to send Slug in ahead of Smith, try and force the runs from both ends.
