Do anything that ensures he isn't anywhere near the first team, garbage player, terrible signing.

And just like last year, Vince scores our first ton of the season.

Sssshhh. We're not allowed to like Wheater. We're meant to all be campaigning to get Bates back.

Brilliant day all round so far.

Thanks for everything Pothas. You'll be missed. My nickname for you was apt and I will never forget it. For the last time, arise Sir Nic.

If one of these two were to get out before the close, then I'd be tempted to declare overnight (as we'll presumably pass 400 before the close).

90 off the last 10 overs. I'm sure Coles would love to come to the crease with this much freedom to swing his bat every time.

Duck for Abbott. Should definitely declare overnight and just tell Wheater to slog it now.

Disagree, if we declare and rob Wheater a chance of a ton, I'd be pretty annoyed, especially with so much time left in the game.

Four sessions, less how every much time we take out of the game tomorrow morning, to bowl them out. Two sessions to knock off whatever they set us.

Gloucs will surely have avoiding defeat at the forefront of their minds, so I can't see them rattling again at 4 or 5 per over like us. And besides, I'm not even sure that many of their batsmen are even capable of that, in all fairness.

Well done Hants.

Yep, 1 of the best days we've had in years, shame that Coles/Abbott have probably stopped Wheater getting a ton, other than that, a brilliant day

After yesterday I was starting to get a bit worried about our CC prospects this year, but today they have fired in all departments and hoping the bowling attack can fire tomorrow and we'll have them all out before the close. Right now weather doesn't look like it will interfere in the remainder of the game.

I wondered if there was rain expected, when the quick runs were being added, it seemed so out of place, good to know it wasn't a weather based slog.
