I was confident we could bowl them out reasonably cheaply this morning, but I thought they'd score more than 11 and it would take more than 31 balls.

Tommo and Abbott as a new ball combo with Coles in support could be lethal this season though.

Now just hope the pitch isn't a minefield ( Will Gidman can rip through us on his day ), and we can knuckle down and get a 1st innings lead.

Benkenstein:"If we can continue to bowl like that & keep those standards, we will bowl sides out."

How right he was.

Well I did say that there wouldn't appear to be too much batting after Gidman. Almost makes those Tavare drops even more annoying now.

Good start from Carberry this (including a 6 already). Over pre-season and last week, I don't think he ever once made double figures.

82/1 at Lunch, im happy with that, scoring at 4 an over, hope that continues. Glocs 2nd wicket partnership was 163, lets hope for the same.

Not listening to the commentary so far but just seen Adams has hit 8 fours which is 32 out of his 35 runs but still off 68 balls! What's going on there :D.

Almost an opposite to last season with the bowling to the tailenders.
