County Fantasy Manager 2014

All competitions - pit your wits against the rest :)

Budget available for round 2:

Note: if you have the leading bid in round one this is not a guarantee of securing the player, you might need to cover another bid from round two. If you spend all of your remaining money successfully in this round, then someone else might overtake your first round bid.

Deadline for 2nd round bids is now Midday Saturday 5th April.

Any questions, please ask :)

The link might have over-complicated things :no .

The way these tiebreakers have been decided:

The 2 chosen numers are added together, if the outcome is odd then the higher player wins (Ntini over Red or Sussex, but Durham over Ntini) and if the outcome is even the lower player wins (Ntini over Durham or Ian, but Sussex over Ntini.) The number was "picked" by Sussex's choice of 2.

Sorry for any confusion :facepalm

I still don't get it, I'm afraid. I now don't understand why I beat powelly, because his number is higher than mine as well.

Anyway.... not to worry. As I said earlier I'm happy to accept your decision. I don't want to bog you down in what looks like a challenging and time consuming league to run

DFM =1

Powelly = 6

Sum = 7

Total is ODD so higher number in table wins (ie. (F)ootmen is before (P)owelly in alphabet) - it doesn't matter too much, however, if you want the player enough then you can bid more in round 2 :)

You'll enjoy it, it was easily the best FL last year. Been waiting all winter for it to return.

He posted a list at about 8 last night Red. The list does include players you lost on tiebreakers, but if you go below that it lists the tiebreaker win loss as well..

I am super confused, I thought if you had the outright leading bid in R1, the player was yours ? and thats the benefit of big offers early.

The outright leading bid in round one guarantees you the chance to win the player.

If someone outbids you in round 2, then you have the opportunity to bid an additional £10K in round 3 to buy the player.

It is exactly the same process as last year.

Hope that makes sense :)

So i technically may have only signed 1 player thus far..

also what is round 2? Is it still bidding on players from round 1, just trying to increase the bids?
