Well done Siddharth Trivedi :salute

Trivedi records statement in Delhi court
http://www.espncricinfo.com/indian-prem ... 38502.html

Trivedi made his statement before a magistrate, which under section 164 of the Indian Penal Code means it is admissible as evidence. "He is not seen as a suspect, he had a periperal role and he never acted, he was refusing all the time," SN Srivastava, a Delhi police official, told NDTV. "In their cases they had agreed to perform or under perform, in Siddharth Trivedi's case he never agreed to perform at all."

As expected Pawar and gang turned out too be too much for Srini . He has laid out conditions for resignation. Doubt Pawar and the gang are going to heed much too all of his demands. :D

http://zeenews.india.com/sports/cricket ... 62434.html
Srinivasan has laid four conditions before quitting.

1) He'll represent India at ICC.

2) He will elect his own secretary and treasurer.

3) President should not be from outside the BCCI board.

4) Shirke and Jagdale should not be allowed to return to the BCCI.

The BCCi seems a bit of a joke, far too busy jostling for the new King's favour rather than trying to make a clear effort to sort things out.

I suppose it's too much to hope that any of them will be found accountable for what has happened under their tenure.

Srini is expecting far too much in his demands. Anyone who has known Mumbai cricket administration will tell at this point of time that BCCI will not give a damn to Srini's demands, especially the demands about Sanjay Jaglade and Ajit Shirke. IMO someone from centre will replace him. In short one crook replacing the other, but a lesson needed to be taught to Srini and he got it.

Srini now denies setting terms to BCCI for exit. Says it is media conspiracy. Is his mouth controlled by media now :lmao

But it was expected BCCI will never accept his stupid terms, and now he has probably realized it and doesn't wants to hurt his ego as BCCI are going to deny it. So denying setting conditions is probably a move to exit without getting mocked.

He's not going to resign, this entire saga has shown the entire cricketing world how far removed from a sport's governing body the BCCI actually is.

This saga has probably done more damage to the international image of Indian cricket than the fixing did in the first place.

Srinivasan steps aside as Dalmiya takes over as interim BCCI chief :clap

Expected that once Pawar got into the act.

Sanjay Jagdale and Ajit Shirke's resignation act worked, and they will be back as well. Happy to know Jagdale is back in administration particularly.

I think the dinner party that Dalmiya hosted as soon as match fixing scandal broke, was wonderful and tasty food was served

Interesting that Owais Shah was in the Essex side when the fixing occurred and in the Rajhistan Royals.

Not making accusations, but if he was seen near the Pakistan team hotel in 2010, questions may arise.

Can this really be happening? How can he represent the BCCI at the ICC? I fear for the future of cricket as those that now run the show have no interest for the good of cricket at all. A total disgrace, and if only the other cricket boards had the courage to stand up to this. Really, where is cricket headed when this happens?

Wow, it leads to captain. One has to feel for the young player whose career depends on whether he accepts to be managed by the company in which Dhoni has stakes. I thought cricketers were only afraid of gangsters and terrorists so far. :no

This is enough. Tell Dhoni to get out of business which conflicts which his duty towards Indian cricket or get out of team.

There is no body in ICC to oppose BCCI. Not enough majority. Money speaks. It's sad that cricket is being run like business.
