County Fantasy Manager 2013

At the midway point of this inaugural CFM I will be posting my thoughts on changes for both the second half of this season and any future season.

For next season I already have some ideas on the allocation of initial squads: managers will have a lot more money to spend meaning the majority of players should be decided by choice through bidding rather than luck through lottery. Squad sizes will also be increased further so that managers should be able to field full sides in most matchweeks.

Please feel free to add any suggestions. The game will work best if people are happy with how it is being run.

I like the idea of allowing everyone select a larger squad so that posters are not short of enough players for a matchweek. The transfers etc are too time consuming for me at least and i have hence played player short in match week and many match weeks without a reserve. Still, it's just a FL so i did not mind playing player short and save time. But if more player selections are available i would definitely take it.

Is there any chance before that we can have the opportunity to change players positions ( assuming other players have no objections with new roles ) for example I have Groenewald and Alex Gidman both listed as all-rounders, when they are a bowler and a batsman respectively ( I know you didn't select the positions they are listed as )

I have no objection to this in principle. Maybe if every manager could PM me a list of their players that they want to change positions, I could post a list (there can't be that many, surely!) that could be debated?

i think any changes need to be pretty clear cut really, so a list (with brief logic i.e. one sentence) that people could then debate / object to is probably the right way to go.
