Lets hope he does get on there unlike Lara and Ponting who never made it on the board. What a great shame it would be to have three of the greatest batsman of this era not to appear on that board.

I think we as cricket fans are privileged to have had the opportunity to watch three of the greatest batsmen to ever grace the game in Tendulkar, Lara and Ponting....
:salute
The question arises: who will be the next great batsman? Is there any member of the younger generation who can fill the boots of this great trio?
Nobody has a stance quite like the mighty Shivnarine....

Some inside news about Sachin:

Sachin requested that his terrace flat should be approved permission to be converted into a gym. The Mumbai Municipal corporation said that it is unable to allow such a happening at this point of time though they have not declined it . The MNS (political party in Mumbai) party said that Sachin having done so much for the country should be considered as an exception and the approval should be given. I admire Sachin about this issue. He could have easily paid the bribe with all the money he has but chose to take the formal permission and approval which other superstars have not.

Sachin walked today, even though the ump gave him not out. Not many around that still do that

Ross Taylor? Darren Bravo? Kohli?

they all have that panache and could develop. Cook may well have the game to be very very successfull without the same flair

Red.....not many are walkers......DId you see Ponting,,,hit the cover off it, got caught, given not out, referred, and he then gave it the funny expression...unbelievable...Tendulkar has the one ingredient which separates him from others...dignity and respect for the game...

People laugh at me..names to watch....Trott... Indian successor....Kohli....

I think people generally agree that these players will be very fine cricketers anyway? :hmmm Suggest Matthew Bell or Javed Omar Belem as a future great then you might get some raised eyebrows...

The Australian Quarter Final would be an ideal time for Sachin to get his 100th international century.

He will score his 100th ton and as has happened in tournament so far India might end up losing the match.

I am sure the aussies will accomodate him!!!!!

:fight ..

wonder if they will ensure the track is a featherbed.....Tait & Lee are bowling quick in this tournament, and we know if there is any weaknesses in the "little masters" technique "its against the "short ball" which he cannot afford to let go by,unlike Tests where he has cut the hook and pull out of his portfolio.....If he gets zero, then what...
