Disagree with that, you can see watching the games how much our tempo of passing has dropped without Carrick. We found a good system for teams that give us space and got injuries. Carrick was the key to it. Sit back to us especially without him and we have literally nothing especially when our finishing is found to be so bad. Without Carrick, Rooney dropped back, Herrera is playing DM and McNair's errors are not covered.
With Carrick: 13-3-2
W/out Carrick: 6-5-6
