the rules of evidence are very different and suarez wasn't even reported to the police let alone charged but the FA banned him for 8 games
what constitutes a charge of bringing the game into disrepute under the FA rules is quite different from what would lead to criminal charges being brought
if he is found guilty, and personally i dont think he should be, then it will be interesting to see what the FA do. him getting a £2,500 fine is meaningless when he earns £100,000+ a week
