I've just watched the highlights of the women's game. The outfield looks really brown around the edges. I don't remember it looking that bad a couple of weeks ago. It's really starting to show the lack of rain

Poor again. For once fought back with the ball and then set a platform with the bat. All it needed was one big innings but we had a series of cameos at the top.
Women seem to have far better plans and they've only been playing for a couple of years! The men have been reliably hopeless for over 20 years.
Any decent T20 side would have won both of the last two games.

hasn't bowled a ball for 6 months, so I'm sure he won't be rusty at all

not that it matters, of course, given we've been utterly sh1te since the first two games of the competition anyway, so he can't hurt our prospects

And, after 19 overs no extras. How can they be so infuriatingly inconsistent- not that I'm counting any chickens. The batting is all over the place too.
