yes, they paced it well in the end. I was a bit concerned around the half way point, but a captain's innings got us there with few alarums.

Presume the ECB would like him to play in the 100. So maybe he won't.

Now Durham have to pay his wages. And his medical bills.

100 will be interesting. He wasn't going to play because he planned to use the One Day Cup as preparation for the Pakistan test series. If he does play for Durham I think it'll have to be primarily as a batter, he won't be able to play a full all-rounder role over a sustained period.

He was going to play in the one day cup, because he didn't have a contract to play in the centiball. That might or might not change now, of course. He might be happy to stay away from the telly cameras for a bit

I'd love him to return to Durham in a full time, full on capacity, as Colly did. Colly's return was great for us, delivering another county championship and a one day cup. I seem to recall him using words that perhaps ruled this out though when he returned a week ago, so beyond this season, perhaps not.

I'm sure Campbell and Bostock will be in his ear though, so who knows?
