I saw a photo of the ground an hour ago and it looked pretty grim

dark and wet

forecast for the next couple of hours still looks poor. Still.... it's amazing what can happen if you have a couple of 'can do' umpires. Sadly we get precious few of them up here.... losing a full day's play after an overnight storm, despite the sun shining for the whole of that day
